T.AR series thrust bearing in series

T.AR series series thrust bearing is a thrust bearing that supports load in a single direction:

It consists of two to eight thrust cylindrical roller bearings arranged in series, and has a middle ring. The elastic diaphragm system can evenly distribute the force to each thrust cylindrical roller bearing. The roller is a tried-and-tested cylindrical roller in the product catalog. Cylindrical rollers are guided by cages. Cages are made of brass, aluminum or nylon. Bearing rings and spacers are made of hardened steel. For high performance types, bearing rings made of high performance steel are used. The speed, permissible temperature range and design details of the T.AR series series thrust bearings can be found in the quotation drawing.

Tandem bearing has the following structural types:

Basic type tandem bearing FIG. 2 is connected with the shaft ring, seat ring and roller cage assembly by elastic spacers. This type of bearing is separable structure, parts can be detachable, it must be carefully installed and disassembled in accordance with the numbering order provided by our company

Tandem bearing assembly

When the series bearings produced by our company leave the factory, the sequence is engraved on the bearings. All parts must be assembled in the prescribed sequence. The assembler will find the corresponding assembly instructions in the package.

Bearing parts match each other with high accuracy and are therefore not interchangeable in most cases. If the correct arrangement must be followed at the time of assembly, the relevant bearings will be marked accordingly.

When installing or removing bearings, do not use hammers or other heavy tools .

Design of bearing layout

When T.AR series thrust bearings are used to design the thrust bearing arrangement of gearbox, many factors must be considered in the structural design.

Series bearing preload

T.AR series thrust bearings in series must bear preload of 1% of basic rated dynamic load. As a result, a minimum load can be provided to avoid skidding damage during no-load operation. In addition, it can ensure that the stiffness is within the linear range of the characteristic curve. The positioning of bearings with respect to the second shaft (the cochlear shaft) is simplified.

Series bearing load

The common loads during the operation of extruders form the design basis of T.AR series series thrust bearings. The maximum axial load Fa max series thrust bearing has been specified in the quotation drawing. The bearing is not allowed to exceed the load during operation.

Series bearing deformation

For twin-screw extruders, the engagement between the screws must be ensured throughout the working rangeProcess gap. The deformation of the T.AR series series thrust bearing must be observed together with the second thrust bearing and matched with it. This is especially important when bearings of different designs are used on the two output shafts.

Series bearing lubrication

To ensure adequate heat dissipation and lubrication, the T.AR series series thrust bearings are lubricated with circulating oil. Lubrication systems are usually equipped with a lubricating oil filter and cooling unit.


Series bearing mounting fit

When installing T.AR series series thrust bearings, it is recommended to adopt f6 fit tolerance for shaft and F7 fit tolerance for bearing seat hole. In order to achieve uniform load distribution, bearings shall not be tilted after installation. Strict geometric tolerances of adjacent structures must also be observed.

Series bearings are available in two, three, four, five, six, seven or eight rows depending on the screw center distance, spacing and load size of the sample center. We also accept series bearings of sizes and structures other than samples.
